Hello all!
Hello my name is Andrew and I am currently going to Utah State University in Aviaton Technology. I know that many pilots wil say that I should not do Aviation Technology as my major so I will have something to fall back on but it is all I am interested in and I dont think I could get thru 4 years doing anything else. I am not yet in flight training so this really will be from day on of the flight training, but I am two years into generals and some ground school, (Physics of flight and stuff). The reason I have yet to do any flight training and everyone that I know in the program is getting ahead of me is because I am currently in an epic battle with the FAA to get my medical certificate. This battle has been going on for a couple of years off and on. When I was younger some “doctor” decided I had ADD because I didn’t like school. Well I personally think that if a 7 year old does like school there is something wrong with that child, not me. It looks like I might finally have this all worked out, I have had a full Psych profile done and the tester said that; “I found no condition that would keep you from safely operating any aircraft.” He put that in a letter to the FAA so I think I should probably get my medical this time. I dont know if anyone will read my posts here.
